DÚN LAOGHAIRE BATHS: WELCOME PROGRESS, BUT WE WANT OUR POOL!

After more than 15 years of campaigning, work has finally got under way at the Dún Laoghaire Baths site. When the job is completed, there will be access to the sea for swimming and water sports, with life-guards in the summer. The pavilion will be restored with public toilets, a changing area for swimmers, a café and studio spaces for artists.

The Council is committed to a second phase of development that will include a pool. Save Our Seafront believes that this should be happening now, while the major works are ongoing, rather than at some time in the future.

Cllr. Melisa Halpin will be pursuing this with the council this spring, please lobby local councillors to support Phase 2
